Bus Service ~ Holy Trinity Catholic School in Grapevine and St. Andrew's School in Fort Worth each provide a bus service for NCHS.

    Holy Trinity Catholic School:
The bus leaves at 6:45 am daily. There is a charge for each student that rides the bus. For more information about this service and/or to reserve a spot for your son/daughter on the bus, please call the Holy Trinity School office at 817-421- 8000.

    St. Andrew's School:
The bus leaves SAS at 7:10 am from the church parking lot. The bus departs from NCHS two (2) times after school; 3:05 pm (arrive at SAS @ 3:30) and 5:45 pm (arrive at SAS @ 6:05 pm.) For more information about this service and/or to reserve a spot for your son/daughter on the bus, please call 817-927-5383.

Volunteers ~ Volunteers are the lifeline of our school and we appreciate those who volunteer their services. For your convenience a Volunteer Opportunity sheet is available online. Please return this sheet to the Main Office as soon as possible. Volunteers will be subjected to a background check and required to attend one of the sessions mentioned in the feature article before providing services to the school. We truly depend on your help and thank you! Visit the Volunteer page in the Campus Life section of the NCHS website for volunteer opportunities, contact information, and a volunteer Q&A.

New Technology ~ Students that use the computers at school (library or computer lab) are urged to use mini portable USB devices instead of floppy disks to save their work. This will minimize the problems we have with disks getting stuck in the floppy drives. These small devices hold 16 - 128 MB. One would most likely hold all of a student's work for the entire year. We will have them available to purchase in the computer lab at a price better than retail!

August 12-Half Day for ALL STUDENTS - 12:04 DISMISSAL - "A Day" schedule.

First Full Day ~ Friday, August 13 will be the first FULL DAY for all classes beginning at 7:45 and continuing to 2:55 pm. Bring your schedules and don't forget to wear your uniform and ID on lanyard. Report to your first period class. We'll start with "A Day" schedule.

    Athletics Update

Tennis Champ ~ More accomplishments for our TAPPS State Singles Champion, Kristen Rafael: Kristen played in the "Grand Slam" tournament in Wichita Falls. She placed 3rd in singles and won doubles (with the girl who beat her in the singles semifinals). She also played in the "Pro-Am" Tournament at TCU in June. It was an "open" tournament in that it had no age divisions, and included pros and college players. Kristen, age 14, won her first match. In her second match she lost to a 24 year old graduate of the University of Tennessee ranked at the time #10 in the nation. Although Kristen lost, she was given a standing ovation by the fans who were watching.

Athletic Physicals ~ According to TAPPS rules, in order for Physical Exams to be valid they must be conducted after June 1, 2004. All Athletic & Activities Participation Packets , including physicals need to be returned to the Athletic Director's Office no later than August 1, 2004. Physicals will be performed at Nolan Catholic High School in the Arena on Thursday July 29, 2004 at 5:00 pm for all who are interested. Sports Participation Packets were mailed on Thursday, May 27. Athletics & Activities Packets can be accesed on-line .
