What is Project Graduation?

» A group of parents established Project Graduation
with school administrative support to provide an alcohol and drug free set of celebrations for the graduating class.
» The events occur on nights near graduation when the parents felt students might be at risk to celebrate unsupervised.
» Each year, senior students and parents raise funds to support the events of Project Graduation.

What does Project Graduation sponsor?

All night celebration for the graduating class, May 25
» Senior picnic and transportation, May 22,
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
» Senior T-shirt

Who is in charge of Project Graduation?
» A group of senior volunteer parents (all senior
parents are invited and encouraged to attend meetings. Meeting dates are posted in the school calendar)


What fundraisers will Project Graduation be hosting?

Viking Fun Run, Nov. 3

Pizza sales on 12:04 dismissal days. Slices are $1.50 each.

Smoothie sales - Every Tuesday and Thursday outside
the Commons
immediately after school. Smoothies sell for $3.

- Bins are located in the
Main Office, Dean's Office and H-hall

Who pays for the Project Graduation events?
» The senior fundraisers cover a large percentage
of the event costs
» Senior students pay a fee to cover the difference

What are the goals for Project Graduation 2008?
» Have 100% student participation at the sponsored events
» Keep the student fee as low as possible
» Provide a safe, alcohol and drug free environment
for students to celebrate their accomplishments and reflect on the supportive and nurturing environment
that Nolan Catholic High School has provided them.

Project Graduation Senior Video

The PG senior video will incorporate still photos and video from the ’08 seniors’ school year. If any students or faculty have still photos or video they would like to submit for this production please leave it with Ms. Bay in the Dean’s office. Photos or a CD with jpg files should be provided. If you are submitting video, please limit the format to DVD or mini-DV tapes. All media will be returned if a return address is attached.
