Notice: Effective Monday, Oct. 22
The Fort Worth Police Department and the Fort Worth Traffic
Department have an urgent request that needs to be followed starting on
Monday, Oct. 22..
If you are approaching Nolan Catholic High School in the morning from the east on I-30 and from the north and south on I-820, the city is asking the following:
Between 7:05 and 7:20, do not use the Bridge Street/Oakland exit on I-30 headed westbound because of the unsafe conditions caused by the backup of traffic onto the highway. The city is requesting that you exit use the Bridge Street/John White exit and follow Bridge Street to the school. This is a safety issue.
If you are approaching Nolan Catholic High School in the morning from the west and you notice that the Oakland exit is backed up, please continue to the Brentwood Stair exit and turn right to return to Oakland.
The city is asking our cooperation before they
have the police direct people away the clogged exit ramps to the next available
exit.

Nolan Catholic High School announces the
appointment of Eric Markinson as the new Academic Dean. He succeeds
Arlene Anderson Jones who has been appointed the principal of Reicher
Catholic High School in Waco, Texas. Eric comes to Nolan Catholic from Gresham High School in Gresham, Oregon, where he is currently the Vice Principal |

working in the areas of curriculum, instruction, discipline, and special populations of students. Eric also has worked extensively with Critical Friends Groups, a staff-centered forum for professional development. The new Academic Dean began his career teaching religious education, and has also taught English, radio broadcasting, and history. While at the University of Michigan, he met the Marianists as an undergraduate and went on to be an aspirant. He has also taught at a Catholic high school that was administered in the Marist tradition. Eric is returning to Texas after a long absence. He was born in Houston and lived in Texas for the first five years of his life. Welcome to Nolan Catholic High School. |
