PRESIDENT
Nolan Catholic High School

Nolan Catholic High School, a flourishing and highly regarded Diocesan-owned and Marianist-sponsored coeducational school in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a visionary and energetic President to carry on its tradition of rigorous college preparatory education under the Characteristics of Marianist Education. The position is available in July, 2008. Candidates must be practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church. The successful applicant will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills and will be a collaborator and motivator among the school’s stakeholders. Key responsibilities include institutional advancement (serving as the school’s chief spokesperson and fundraiser, supported by an excellent and well staffed institutional advancement office), financial management (developing long-range financial plans in conjunction with a committed school board and a talented finance director and support staff), overall vision and leadership (working collaboratively with an experienced principal and staff), and liaison with the school’s many publics (including the Diocese of Fort Worth, the Society of Mary, area parishes, feeder elementary schools, the school board, and local business and civic organizations). Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience.

ENGLISH/LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER

Nolan Catholic High School, Fort Worth, Texas, is in search of a full-time English/Language Arts teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. You will be joining an accomplished and diverse department looking forward to a new colleague able to reinforce its current strengths in literature, rhetoric, and writing. Ability to teach AP/IB/college-level English is desired.


GUIDANCE COUNSELOR

Nolan Catholic High School, Fort Worth, TX is in search of a full-time Guidance Counselor for the 2008-2009 school year. Nolan Catholic's Guidance Department seeks to nurture relationships with and among members of the NC community, in order to develop students whose hearts and minds are growing towards wholeness. While much of the work is academic counseling and post-graduate preparation, candidates need to be well versed in supporting students and families through problems and crises. You will be joining an accomplished and diverse department.

Candidates should hold a degree in Counseling & Guidance, and Licensed Professional Counselors will get preference. Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and college & career development is essential, as are excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
