TAPPS Athletics
The following T.A.P.P.S. team sports are offered on a competitive basis. Enrollment in any of these sports is subject to the coach's approval. Successful season completion of a T.A.P.P.S. sport may serve as a physical education credit until the graduation requirement in PE is complete.

Girls Volleyball & Softball
Boys & Girls Cross-Country, Basketball, Soccer, Golf, Track, Tennis, and Swimming

936 - Athletic Trainer
Students, boys and girls, interested in learning the skills of care and prevention of athletic injuries may enroll for this class only after receiving approval from the Nolan Athletic Trainer. Students enrolled in this class will be required to assist the Athletic Trainer during athletic events and will be required to perform certain duties after school hours. Successful completion qualifies for Physical Education credit.
Grade: 9-12 All Year
Prerequisite: Recommendation of the Athletic Trainer

Dance Team
This physical education alternative teaches students the basic fundamentals of dance and drill with the use of field-routine music and popular music. The Drill Team performs at football games, pep rallies, basketball games, and various contests throughout the year.
Grade: 10-12 All Year

Cheerleading
This P.E. alternative requires successful election by a trained cheerleading screening committee and demands year long active participation.
Grade: 9-12 All Year

Color Guard
This Physical Education alternative teaches students basic fundamentals of flag, rifle, marching, dance and drill execution. During the football season the color guard performs with the Nolan Viking Band. All color guard members must play an instrument in the band during concert season.
