Guidance Counselors will be available by appointment during June.
Counselors will not be available in July.


    Guidance counselors use alphabetical listings for student assignments. Please see the alpha assignments next to each counselor's name to determine who your child's counselor is.

    MaryAnn Maryol A-B

    Mrs. MaryAnn Maryol is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Texas Woman's University. She has B.S. in Elementary Education from Texas Wesleyan.

    Mrs. Maryol worked in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD since 1971. She became a counselor for the district in 1976. Mrs. Maryol has extensive experience at all levels of education: elementary, junior high, high school and college. She also has both private practice and hospital experience.


    Mrs. Maryol and her husband David have one son, Nicholas, who graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 2006. They are actively involved in their parish community at Holy Family Catholic Church.


    Dr. Andrew Gill C-Green

    Dr. Gill is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Intern with a Doctorate degree in Theocentric Psychotherapy from Romano Byzantine College and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Franciscan University. He also has a B.A. in Theology from Franciscan University.

    Dr. Gill has worked with Catholic Social Service in Lincoln, Nebraska, locally in Grapevine with the DFW Center for Autism, and in Dallas with Homeward Bound, Inc., a drug and alcohol treatment center.


    Patty Kulpa – Grem - Mann

    Mrs. Patty Kulpa earned a BSW from Michigan State University and an MA in Counseling from Western Michigan University. She has performed drug and alcohol assessments and taught education classes for many years. She worked/taught in juvenile detention facilities and has extensive experience in assessing and referring families in crisis. She joined the counseling staff in 2002.

    Her most rewarding and valuable experience comes from raising she and her husband's five children: Lauren ('04), Michael ('06), Mary ('10), Thomas ('12), and Alyssa ('15).


    Symionne A. Quarles Mano-Reyes

    Mrs. Symionne Quarles earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling from Alabama State University. She has been in the education field for more than 10 years and a guidance counselor for the last five.

    Mrs. Quarles is currently working on a Ph.D in Family Studies at Texas Women's University.

    Mrs. Quarles enjoys spending time with her three children: Aaron, Alexandra and Alyssa.

     


    Veronica Tucker '94 Reynolds-Z

    Mrs. Veronica Tucker '94 earned her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and her M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from the University of San Diego. She taught for several years at schools in both Texas and California and then returned to the Theology department of Nolan Catholic, her alma mater, in 2003. She joined the counseling staff in 2005. She is married and has one daughter and a son.

     


    Bro. Al Kuntemeier, S.M.

    Brother Al Kuntemeier, S.M. has a MA in Counseling from Notre Dame with 30 years experience in high school counseling in Chicago, Oklahoma City and Fort Worth. He has been a Marianist brother for 56 years and is the NCHS tennis coach. He also assists with military and service academy students and ACT/AP testing.


    Mrs. Lisa Smith | Administrative Assistant

    Mrs. Lisa Smith earned her B.A. from the University of North Texas with a teaching degree in English and Journalism. She was a teacher assistant at St. John the Apostle Catholic School for 8 years. She is the Administrative Assistant in the Guidance Department.

    She is married and has five children (3 of which are triplets): Ashley ('03), Alex ('08), Abby ('08), Tyler ('08), and Tanner ('10).
