‘Impressive’ Stadium Serves as Pre-NFL Draft Backdrop

On Friday, April 23, Doskocil Stadium became the appropriate setting for two future NFL players’ interviews with a local TV station. Tatum Bell, RB from Oklahoma State and Carlos Francis, WR from Texas Tech came to NCHS for these Fox 4 exclusive pre-Draft interviews.

When asked what they thought of the NCHS stadium, Francis replied, “This field is really impressive.” Bell responded with, “This beats a couple of Big 12 turfs.”

Francis, a Ft. Worth native, and Bell from Desoto took a few minutes on the field being filmed throwing the football around and cracking jokes about the game, traveling, and who was the better cook.

In the Draft, Tatum Bell was picked by the Denver Broncos in round 2 (41 overall) and Carlos Francis was picked in round 4 (99 overall) by the Oakland Raiders.
