Philosophy of Financial Aid

Nolan Catholic hopes to provide every qualified student the opportunity to attend our school. The responsibility for funding a student’s educational expenses lies with the parents and the student. For those who cannot pay the full cost, Nolan Catholic has a financial aid program that provides assistance. All financial aid is issued as need-based aid. This is the most equitable way to ensure that students of most economic backgrounds find a Nolan Catholic education accessible.  There is no assurance that a student receiving financial aid in one year will be issued the same amount the following year. Financial need has no bearing on the admissions decision.  Each year, to ensure consideration for financial aid from Nolan Catholic and the Bishop’s Scholar Fund the parents must:

Both steps must be completed to be considered for financial aid. Please note that there are separate notifications sent from the Diocesan Bishop’s Scholar Fund and NCHS. For details, click on the “Tuition and Fees” tab and the “Cost of Attendance” tab. Financial Aid Applications are available on our website or you may pick one up from our business office. Spanish versions of the application are available.
