INTRODUCTION | Over the past two years, the Nolan Catholic High School Administration, School Board, School Board Strategic Plan Committee have engaged in an intensive effort to develop a strategic plan, which builds upon the school's strengths and focuses resources on emerging opportunities. The process for developing the plan consisted of four (4) phases:
  • Gathering of data to assess the school's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats;
  • Analysis and discernment to establish goals and objectives;
  • Development of strategies and tactics to achieve the goals and objectives and apply appropriate metrics;
  • Affirmation of the plan by the school's constituencies.

One specific constituency group, the Nolan Catholic faculty and staff, has been and will continue to be engaged in several ways. First, a questionnaire was administered to gain their insights on the current state of the school. Later, a draft of the strategic plan was presented at a faculty and staff meeting. Members were asked to provide comments and suggestions. Finally, the faculty and staff will play an important role in the effective implementation of the plan.
