Welcome and Thanks for your interest in NOLAN CATHOLIC

Nolan Catholic High School is a parochial, co-educational, college preparatory high school.  Founded in 1961, Nolan Catholic serves approximately 1,000 students in grades 9-12.  NCHS is an educational ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth under the administration of the Society of Mary (Marianists). NCHS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Texas Catholic Conference Education department.  Its 93-member faculty is composed of 5 vowed religious and 87 laymen.  More than 51% hold advanced degrees:  four doctoral and 45 master's degrees.

MISSION
Nolan Catholic High School serves the mission of the Roman Catholic Church by educating youth. This is accomplished according to the characteristics of Marianist education which are to:

Director of Enrollment Management

Rene Ramirez has been at Nolan Catholic for four years. He has a B.A. in Communications/English from the University of North Texas.

Rene has 18 years experience in Catholic education.  He also serves as head baseball coach and assistant football coach.

Associate Director for Admissions

Dr. John Shreve is in his third year at Nolan. He has a doctorate in Education Administration.

John has 31 years of experience as Principal, teacher, and coach in Catholic, public, and charter schools.  He was Principal of Holy Family Catholic School from 2006-2011.

Enrollment Information

Enrollment Overview

  1. Interested students must complete and submit our online application.
  2. Freshman applicants are to take the ACT Explore Admissions Test at Nolan Catholic.  
  3. Applicants are to schedule a family interview.

Transfer Students

  • NCHS considers transfer students for the freshman or sophomore year.
  • Junior and senior transfer applicants are considered if coming from another Catholic high school.

Tuition Assistance

  • Need based financial aid is available.
  • Financial aid applications are available on our website or can be picked up in our Business Office.
  • Applications are due to PSAS by March 1, 2014.
  • School registration forms must be completed and paid to be considered for financial aid.
