Application Process for 2015-2016

ONLINE APPLICATION - September, 2015.

Prospective Freshman must complete and submit an online application that includes a $75 application fee.   

Only Freshman applicants are required to take the ACT Explore admissions test. 

Our admissions committee will review the Freshman applicant when:

  1. The online application is completed and submitted
  2. The ACT Explore Admissions test has been taken
  3. All three teacher evaluations have been received
  4. Report cards or transcripts from the 7th and 8th grades have been received
  5. We have received the admissions test results
  6. A family interview has been scheduled and conducted

Check our web site under the admissions tab "Enrollment Dates" for test dates. The ACT Explore test is a curriculum based test which helps us determine acceptance and placement when considering upper level courses.  See the ACT EXPLORE website for details and samples on the content of the test:www.actstudent.org/explore/.

Late applicants are reviewed with the same integrity and consideration as applications we received prior to the deadline.  Taking the late admissions test will not detract a student's chance from being accepted.


Prospective transfer students (grades 10-12) must complete and submit our online application including a $75 application fee no later than May 30, 2015.  If this date has passed, contact the admissions office

Transfer applicants are NOT required to take an admissions test.  For details, please see the transfer requirements under the admissions tab "Requirements for Prospective Students".

Our admissions committee will review a transfer applicant when:

  1. The online application is complete and submitted
  2. All three teacher evaluations have been received
  3. Report cards or transcripts from the current year and last year have been received
  4. A family interview has been scheduled and conducted

 Additional Information

  • Applicants with at least one parent/guardian are required to interview.


  • Following the admissions committee review, applicants will be notified of acceptance by mail.  For freshman applicants, decision letters are mailed on February 27, 2015.


  • Upon acceptance, a $500 registration fee for all incoming freshmen is due by March 27, 2015.  If the student is a late applicant, registration is due 10 days after acceptance.


  • If applying for financial aid, an application is due to PSAS by February 27, 2015..  Upon acceptance, the student must be registered for the 2015-2016 school year by completing all registration documents and paying the registration fee.


  • PSAS financial aid notification will be mailed on May 1, 2015.  Please note that there are separate notifications sent from the Diocese Bishop's Scholar Fund and NCHS.


  • Tuition Invoices are mailed on May 7, 2015.


  • Tuition is due on June 5, 2015.  Several payment options are available.  Go to the admissions tab "Financial Considerations" for details.
