NCHS Summer School 2008
June 5- July 3
Nolan Catholic policy states that in order to return the following year, students must make up any classes they have failed during the summer. These courses are not meant to repeat the entire curriculum; rather, they are to remediate whatever prevented your student from passing. (Nolan Catholic does offer Communication Applications and Health – both required for graduation – in their entirety.)
Particularly in core content areas, your student should complete summer school at Nolan Catholic. Teachers are well versed in our curriculum, and will ensure your student is prepared as much as possible for next year. If Nolan Catholic summer school is not an option, students also are permitted to complete requirements in their local public school districts, or via Texas Tech online at http://www.depts.ttu.edu/ode. Please contact your local district for information about their summer programs.
