Mission Statement: To raise awareness in the Nolan Catholic High School community to the opportunities that exist in science related fields.

For those who crave knowledge, we will learn lots more than you could ever imagine learning in science class. We will listen to various successful individuals from the many different fields of science. You do not have to be “good” in science to join--lots of fun and hands-on learning.

Meeting Place: Ms. Hubbard’s Biology Lab

 Meeting Days: vary, but at least once a month (usually on Tuesdays)

Meeting Times: about 3:30--5:00

Participation Requirements: Come to at least most of the meetings and enjoy science.

Major Activities: experiments, labs, guest speakers, field trips.

Club dues: $10

Mr. Craig Adams, geologist

Mr. Craig W. Adams – President
Mr. Adams has 25 years of experience in the energy industry with expertise in geology, geophysics, petrophysics, project and play management, operations, economics and reservoir analysis. Mr. Adams has been involved in the discovery of and currently owns interests in producing properties in the Fort Worth Basin, Arkoma Basin, Anadarko Basin, Eastern Shelf, and Permian Basin. Mr. Adams began his career with Amoco Production Company in Denver where he worked the Rockies, Mid-Continent and several international projects. Mr. Adams left Amoco in 1996 to help manage Beartooth Energy Partners and later co-founded its successor ADEXCO Production Company where he served as President. Mr. Adams was responsible for ADEXCO being an early entrant in the Barnett Shale play where he owned interest in 150,000 acres and over 120 wells. Craig has a BS in geology from Texas Christian University, MS in Geology from UT Arlington, and an Executive MBA from Rice University.
