Daniel Jau, Head Swim Coach

Daniel is in his third year as head swim coach at Nolan Catholic.
Education: 

• B.S. in Criminology/Criminal Justice -- University of Texas at Arlington
• Teaching Certifications - Physical Education (Pre-K – 12 grade), Speech Communications (8th- 12 grade), Career Connections (9 – 12 grade)

Professional Experience/ Recognitions: 

• Head Swim Coach at Grapevine HS/Colleyville Heritage HS, GCISD
• Head Age Group Coach/Assistant Senior Coach at Mid Cities Arlington Swim Club
• USA Swim member
• Texas Interscholastic Swimming Caoches Association – member

Lauren Black -- Assistant Swim Coach

Lauren is in her third year as assistant swim coach at Nolan Catholic.

Education:

• B.A. in Religion from University of the Ozarks

Professional and Work Experience:

• Swim coach at Mid Cities Arlington Swim Club 4 years 
• Nolan Swim coach 3 years
• Youth Director at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church

Jack Romine – Head Diving Coach

This is Jack's third year as head diving coach for Nolan Catholic.

Education: 

• B.A. Physical Education & Health from Arizona State University
• M.S.  Physical Education, Ed.D. Educational Administration/Physical Education at Brigham Young University

• Head Dive Coach Grapevine High School/Colleyville Heritage High School, GCISD
• TISCA Diving official

 Bryan McMahon - Swim & Dive Moderator and Assistant Swim Coach

NCHS Swim and Dive 2010-2011 Results

The boy's team won the regional title and finished second at state.
The girl's team placed fourth at regionals.

State Swimming highlights include:

• 2nd place in the Men's 200-yard Medley Relay
  Drake Duman, Kyle Batson, Mike Batson and Nicholas Tran
• 3rd place in the Men's 200-yard Freestyle Relay
  Mike Batson, Jack Collins, Weston Eng and
  Nicholas Tran
• 2nd place in the Men's 100-yard Backstroke
  Kyle Batson
• 2nd place in the Men's 100-yard Butterfly
  Kyle Batson
• 3rd place in the Women's 100-yard Freestyle

• 3rd place in the Women's 100-yard Backstroke

State Diving highlights include:

• Cameron Elias placed third in the Men's 1-meter Diving and third overall
• Rachel Williams placed third overall
