For the fifth consecutive year, the Stephen Breen Memorial Foundation would like to award a $5000 scholarship to a graduating senior from Nolan. The qualifications,along with the application for receiving the scholarship can be found in the Guidance office.

Credit Recovery Classes: Students needing credit recovery, evening classes are being offered by the Arlington ISD and the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. For more information please see the Guidance Office.
Making a College Visit: NCHS alumni are available at schools throughout the country to offer you advice, their experience of the school you are visiting, a place to stay or just a familiar face to welcome you. They enjoy seeing a familiar face, too. Alumni are also available via email, phone and all various other technological means to chat with you and address your questions and concerns. Attention Junior's and Senior's:TCU's CAMP COLLEGE is June 3-6 2012Camp College is a four-day college application and financial aid “boot camp” for rising college-bound high school juniors and seniors. Students will learn about a variety of colleges and universities, build relationships with many admission representatives and college counselors, as well as spend three nights on the campus of Texas Christian University. Approximately 120 students from across the state of Texas will work with several college-admission professionals to help students:
- Identify schools that match interests and needs
- Write an application essay and create a resume
- Navigate the financial aid maze
- Learn tips, techniques, and strategies for the ACT/SAT
- Attend college presentations and a college fair

Attention Freshmen and Sophomores! Each summer the Fort Worth chapter of the Military Order of World Wars provides scholarships to send outstanding sophomores and junior level students to a four day Youth Leadership Conference at Texas Wesleyan in July. For additional information, please see Ms. Maryol in the Guidance office ASAP.
Do you need to repeat a course that you didn't pass? If so, the Grapevine Colleyville ISD is offering their last Target Evening Classes prior to Summer School. Registration begins March 19. Please see your Guidance counselor for more details.
